Com o projeto fotográfico “A Zona” (2018) como ponto de partida, #10 ergue-se do universo digital bidimensional, numa procura de evidenciar a oposição entre dois espaços e realidades: o natural e o industrial. Na fotografia, é apresentado um lugar abiótico, no sentido em que a própria natureza atrofia a sua forma e presença quando exposta à indústria. Existem formas de vida latentes a ambos os elementos desta relação, quer através da ausência espectral do ser humano, quer através do atrofio da flora e fauna. Se, por um lado, estas máximas são imanentes ao espaço físico, a dissimulação das estruturas e o nivelamento do antagonismo natural-industrial são o resultado da manipulação fotográfica através de longas exposições.

With the photographic project "The Zone" (2018) as a starting point, #10 rises from the two dimensional digital universe, in a quest to highlight the opposition between two spaces and realities: the natural and the industrial. In the photograph, an abiotic place is presented, in the sense that nature itself atrophies its form and presence when exposed to industry. There are latent forms of life in both elements of this relationship, either through the spectral absence of the human being or through the atrophy of the flora and fauna. If, on the one hand, these maxims are immanent to the physical space, the dissimulation of structures and the levelling of the natural-industrial antagonism are the result of photographic manipulation through long exposures.
